Building Project Update
Uniform
Next week students need to be in their new winter uniforms. The school appreciates every effort made by families to ensure that the correct uniform is worn by all students.
Please ensure that all articles of clothing and footwear are clearly marked with your child’s name. Year 6 students may continue to wear the old uniform for the remainder of the year. The following items may be continued to be used, maroon school bag, jumper, book bags, navy pants and rugby top.

Inter School Sport
Last Friday our students participated in Inter School Sport against St Finbar's in East Brighton. It was a home match and I was fortunate to be able to watch our netballers compete. The rain held off and the afternoon was enjoyed by all. See below for an interview with students.
Year Five STEM Projects
This week our Year Five students presented their STEM projects that they have been working on over the last four weeks at school. The students designed safe and inclusive playgrounds and used the Stanford Design Process to guide their thinking. Students loved being involved in this hands-on learning opportunity. Enhancing STEM Education is a priority at Galilee this year and we are thrilled to see students engaged in these types of projects. Throughout 2022, staff will continue to be involved in professional development in STEM Education. Our new building will offer state of the art facilities so students can engage in a range of STEM based learning activities, in our purpose built STEM Room and Maker Space. The STEM Room will be equipped with sinks, ovens, wet areas, large tables, ample floor space and easy access to equipment such as hot glue guns. The Maker Space will also have ovens, sinks and a large space for students to work.

The dates for the sacrament of Eucharist for ALL Galilee students are as follows:
